Description |
Silkscreened poster with green text on a black background. The text reads “Dormcon presents / McCormick Hall / Mixer MIT / 320 Memorial Drive / Tuesday, September 13 / 8 p.m. Live Band - “The Next of Kin” / guys 1$ girls free Class of ’70 free." Alongside the official posters created by MIT's renowned Publishing Services Bureau, the Institute was also covered with posters designed by MIT students. This poster was one of many such posters designed and hand screened by MIT students from the 1950s until the 1990s. These were collected by Karen Arenson, who collected them during her four years as an MIT undergraduate from 1966 to 1970 and hung them in her McCormick Hall dormitory room. |
