Priti Paul was the first woman from South Asia to receive an undergraduate degree from the School of Architecture and Planning. After completing her BS in Architecture in 1990, Paul went on to gradaute with a Master's of Fine Arts at Harvard University and studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, UK, Royal Institute of British Architects. She returned to India to work in  her family’s business—the century-old Apeejay Surrendra Group. As Managing Director, Paul launched India’s first gallery on new media art (Apeejay Media Gallery) and created the Appejay Anand Children’s Library to support education for underprivileged children in India.
