Uday P. Sukhatme, ’66, ScD ’71

The first South Asian undergraduate at the School of Science, Uday P. Sukhatme, came from New Delhi. He started his career as a Physicist at the Institute in 1962 and left a decade later having graduated with an ScD in 1971. Professor Sukhatme held a number of faculty appointments at universities across America including Dean of Arts and Sciences at SUNY Buffalo,  and Provost and executive Vice President at Pace University from 2012-2017.
