Janendra Mohan Sil 1924
Janendra Mohan Sil '24, was born in Dacca, India (now Dhaka, Bangladesh) on October 12, 1898. He received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Calcutta before enrolling at MIT as a Sophomore. "Jimmy", as he was called by his friends, majored in Electrical Engineering and was a member of the Electrical Engineering Society and the Cosmopolitan Club.
